The primary challenge was designing a dual-character residence: one facade ensuring privacy from the road, the other opening completely to the lake and surrounding nature.

To achieve this vision, Alumilex transformed the exterior of the house into a bright transition between rock and water. These solutions deliver:

• A technical response to the non-standard dimensions of the glass walls

   

• Thermal engineering designed for the northern climate. To cope with the winds and intense cold of the Laurentians, Alumilex has deployed high-performance thermal systems, ensuring constant comfort despite the large glass walls.

   

• A smooth transition between indoors and outdoors, enhanced by recessed thresholds that make each transition to the terraces seamless.
