In the heart of the house, everything feels both intimate and vast. We let ourselves flow through the space. Floor, sky, trees, lake; nothing separates the interior from the outside.

Challenges and solutions

The architectural challenge was to create absolute openness so that the house appears to float between the forest and the water, while preserving the feeling of a cozy nest.

To achieve this vision, Alumilex solutions were used to create large curtain walls and glass panels. These structures offer:

  • Smooth and effortless opening thanks to the lift-and-slide system, making it easy to move from room to room throughout the house.

     

  • Sleek minimalism with ultra-thin profiles that create perfect visual continuity between the ground and the horizon of the lake.

     

  • A custom design that creates beautiful views with large windows framing the natural surroundings.
